Chris Ayer is a New York based musician who was brought into my world by his producer, Jason Gantt.  The band consisted of Chris playing acoustic, keys, and singing, Jason played electric guitar, Adam Beard (another local recording guru) played bass, and Aaron Sterling flew in from Los Angeles to drum.  Chris’s songs are fantastic, and he won the John Lennon Songwriting Contest in the Folk category, which, combined with his constant touring, has amassed him quite a following.

"Beyond being a lightning-fast engineer that makes a tough job look effortless, Scott was central in setting the positive vibe of creativity and enthusiasm that prevailed during my time tracking in the studio. In some recording situations, the work can get bogged down by stressed musicians and short fuses, but working with Scott couldn't have been farther from that: we finished ahead of schedule, with far more music recorded than I ever expected was possible in a week. And nobody wanted it to end! His attitude and skills are a rare combo, and a real asset to any studio project. Can't wait to work with him on the next record!"
